As long as it is in a public place. You cannot legally take a photograph of anyone in a closed place without permission, but in a public enviroment any picture you take is considered yours. Why do you think the tabloids get away with putting all the junk pictures they do in their magazines, if it were illegal then there goes peoples entertainment.

If it is outdoors... I can't see how it would be illegal. If that were the case then gas stations can't have outside security cameras. Or anyone else for that matter. If you were to publish them I think you might have a problem.

Most news organizations do not show the faces of juveniles unless it is a murder or other violent crime. I don't know if it is because of a law or just ethics. lol what am I saying news with ethics. ah ha ha ha I tear myself up sometimes.

I think it is legal to take the picture, distributing it might fall into a gray area. Minor's identities are not normally released without the consent of the parents.

No, if the police took that photo it would be illegal. Juvenile cases are strictly confidental no matter if the case is high-profile unless they are charged as an adult.

Not only is it legal, it should be mandatory, to ensure that the police does not abuse their authority with shows of force on the minors.

If you are in a public place you may photgraph it, But it would be illegal to post it or publish it.

So you can't put it on the internet, in the newspaper, on posters around town and the such

Oh now I see they are arresting these juveniles. I believe in your earlier question they were harassing them.

to publish the photo with the minors face with out a blur then you would need written consent from the parents and the minor, if you want to keep it for your stalking hobby, that is your business.
