Every time I go out drinking beer (I drink miller lite or bud lite) my eyes start to feel dry and sticky, especially the left one. I've got a friend that says he's very allergic to the hops in budweiser, a little allergic to the hops in miller lite but Coors light is ok for him. Could this be an allergy? People have started commenting that whenever we're out drinking beer that I'm blinking a lot. I really like beer though. Could this be an allergy? What beer is least likely to cause this?

Are you sure it's not the smoke?? Go to the doc. They can tell you exactly what you are allergic to. If it is the hops, some beer has less than others.

Yes...drink lots of water, stop drinking for awhile, and then go back to drinking, but moderately.

Hmmm.. I never heard of a beer alergy before .. but I suppose it's possible. Otherwise, I really don't know what would cause it. Good Luck ! :)

You're supposed to drink it, not clean your contact lenses in it. That's where you're going wrong.
