Gravity is seen in action. You can't 'see' gravity but you see it in action when you drop the book. Same with God.
BTW, what do you consider answering? When a homeless person asks you for change what do you say? Don't you think God gets tired of hearing "I want, I want" all the time? I know I get sick of hearing it from my kids!

Well, see. . . most of the people who believe in God believe that gravity exists as a result of God creating it, and follows the physical rules established by God. So if something other than God resulted in you receiving what you prayed for, that still may have been the action of God, since God causes natural actions. But that won't convince one who does not already believe. I believe sincere prayers are heard 100% of the time, but not always answered.

I've compared belief to gravity many times.
You know the chair will hold you up, so you should know you can walk on water.
Believing = receiving.
God does have rules though. They are strict rules of course. If you are a sinner, you are "out of tune" with God and must ask (or thank) for forgiveness to get back into tune. Now, at least, He can hear your prayers.
We have Jesus Christ as our mediator to God, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
God won't invade into your free will and choice. Nor will he smite your enemies upon your request. The rules for prayer make a lot of sense to me, happily so.
The main point for all of us on this planet is to Praise God for being on this wonderful planet. We should worship Him.

gravity is more sure than god when you look with "worldly" eyes, yes. i think you're on to something; that is, of course, if you meant "....100% of the times prayers are answered". though, christian dogma dictates that prayers are always answered in one way, shape or form. maybe, not just the way one prayed for them to be answered.

Usually-100% of the time????
Hmmm....
Ok, I get it. Unless your answered prayer came with a card signed 'Love, God', then yes 100% of the times they were answered, it very well could have been something else!
Like Satan!....Ooooo.......?????

Let's see if I understand this.
Every time you drop a book, it falls. Therefore, sometimes when you pray, it might be something other than God that answers.
Did you drop that book on your head?

I've come to the conclusion that God has no interest in us. Therefore prayer is futile.

"Something other than God answering".
I always found I had to do my own answering when I was a believer. Damn, had to do all the work myself.

It was you answering your own questions, God is in your head. Ever notice that the voice God uses in your head is YOUR voice?
