Just tell him that your too young for all that serious stuff or something like that.He's playing the pity card on you by saying he would die.Tell him that you can stay friends (if you want).

It all talks only no one die for other, if he gets some one better than you he live u. So its all about better things in life. The person u were 4 year ask him to give you some time and space.

Yeah so did mine, its called manipulating. Just explain to him how you've enjoyed this yr being with him but you feel its holding you down, tell him you want to be friends but just not in a commited relationship.

Just be honest with him. Although he may be hurt I doubt it seriously if he will die. The only way you will be able to deal with it is if you tell him the truth.
