did your conscience bother you at all

One time the bank statement showed 100 more than what I deposited. I sooo wanted to keep it but I notified the bank because my conscience would not leave me alone. No, I figured it was not God blessing me, maybe he was testing my integrity!! I got an A on that test as well. Thank you Jesus.
My Christian upbringing's results. Thanks Grandma for teaching me honesty by example!!!

I was at the grocery store and had 2 scones & she only charged me for donuts. I had to tell her. The proverb kept going through my head. Something like when something is stolen it is like chewing gravel.
I know that had I not paid for them when I knew better, they would have tasted like gravel.

When I was 18, a bank-teller gave me $20 too much and I kept it. I wouldn't do that again. Now that I am grown up, I understand that it's low-class and unethical to profit from another's mistake. I return the change to the cashier -- otherwise that poor working stiff might have to pay the till back out of his or her own pocket. I couldn't live with ripping off a worker who made a math error.

Yes of course. In the institution where I am working now, a few months ago a person gave me asum of Rs. 50,000.00 Sri Lanka Money and asked my to keep it and hand over it when he needs it. So far he did not asked me to give his mpney back. I am keeping it and giving interest free micro loans to my ctaff. It help them greatly. I thing I will keep it so long as I am in this institution. When I leave the institution I will give it to somebody to continue the same practice.
I will not use it for my needs, because It is not my own. , and it is against my religious teachings.

I don't think God was testing your integrity.
maybe he was rewarding you to be good for so long.
that's the way i see it.
like when i go to Mc D and pay with 5 dollars and the cashier give me 45 dollars change i always say thank you.

(just kidding)
I'm so proud of you.
