The only way I've seen or known her is through one of my sister's friends. She often visits my court as one of her friends live down the court but I never catch them.
She always stares at me down the halls and holds a smile, I just don't know what to say and when I walk by without saying anything I really feel mad at myself about it later.
If anyone can please give me a rough idea of the perfect way to approach her I will appreciate it mostly! Please I don't want to lose this one.
She's a very shy girl and I don't want her to feel uneasy or uncomfortable when I approach her, Also she doesn't have many friends that are guys at all I guarantee she will shut herself out when I approach her. No handshakes...Approach her alone, or if she is talking with someone, show up with a friend, and just go and say "hi"... Or you can send her a note simply saying " HI, my name is ---(-insert name here) can we go have coffee? a soda, lunch dinner ...etc.and include your phone #. One of you needs to make the first step, and it probably wont be her.

A handshake is out, unless it's a formal meeting. Say Hi to her. She may not say Hi the first time but by the third or fourth time she will.
Your shyness can be exorcised. Start talking to people that don't make you nervous. Remember the conversations and how easy it felt. Practice with people and make small talk. Even shy people want to talk and laugh and be loved. Take small steps and remember to smile at this girl. She sounds like she's smart enough to get the hint. I know you can do it so get out there and PRACTICE! Good luck.

If you really like her a simple Hello or How are you can open up or spark a conversation... remember to try to keep eye contact, and hold it enough so she knows you are also interested... Keep a shiny smile handy... in case you get too nervous...
Have you tried to ask your friend to formally introduce you? That way you might hint them you like her and want to meet her... some of us -women I mean by that- play the matchmaking game and are good at introducing people at the right time...

Ya i agree handshake is kinda odd. Just say hello to her every time you pass by her for a while. Gradually stick in a how are you etc.. maybe sit next to her and her friends sometime and just talk to them to get to know her and eventually you will be able to ask her out
