A kitten I know just recently received shots for a three way assorted choice of ringworms, tapeworms, and round worms. During a recent conversation with a friend, it was suggested sugar builds antibodies or for a cat or dog or anything towards that effect, basically building up their immune system

What you got to say?

Are you asking if the shot was possibly not effective? The dewormer is not a vaccination....so a fever or anything immune system wise is not going to interfere with the removal of parasites. Though the cat might crap a little more for a day or two.
Now, if the cat had a high fever and was getting a Distemper Vax, then yes the Vax may be affected and not as potent as it should.

Some times a worming can make your cat sick and they will through up worms(in food or just bile) and that is normal. But how long has it been sense the worming? if it keeps getting sick a couple of days just call the vet you took her to and they will advise you from there. And just feeding her a good quality food will keep her in tip top health. Some times a 2nd worming is needed in a couple of weeks but your vet will advise you on that

No sugar does not build anti bodies. It takes on a suger rush in a cat and starts taking away their immune system.

sugar? wtf?
your cat will be lethargic for a while, even more so for a kitten. Just keep an eye on your pet and take it to a vet if it gets worse.

if your cat consumes too much sugar, it may trigger vomiting or diarrhea in your cat.
