I undrestand that in todays society there is a certain segment of the population who feel it is necessary to polute the air with vulgar language. Is it because they are uneducated, or do they think it makes them big? How do they keep from getting food poisoning eating with such a filthy mouth?

As you can see from the first answerer, there is no way to keep vulgar people out.All you can do is report what you find offensive, and let the staff take care of it.

Vulgarity and constantly cussing is like slapping, hitting, abusing - only verbally. When the brain can't handle a situation, it resorts to physical or verbal abuse.

I will sometimes ( very rarely) react to a situation with an explosive cuss word. However, it is only explosive because it's rare. It gets people's attention BECAUSE it's rare.

I'm not a saint. I "think" in cuss-words on a minto minute basis (but besides you - nobody knows that).

My question became if the Flintstones became in B.C., Why did they have a good time Christmas and thanksgiving. i do not recognize how some human beings destroy out with some issues and others look to flee with others. some human beings bypass to far ,for confident and others do not bypass far adequate. i imagine politically suited is going somewhat far in this united states of america and human beings offended by skill of the time period "Merry Christmas" could keep their mouths close . properly in case you Q receives erased because of my answer, possibly there is not any longer freedom of speech in this united states of america anymore.

Well, sometimes vulgarity is used to emphasize emotion on a point which we feel very passionate about. You just have to realize that this board is not heavily moderated and that by using it, you are assuming some risks. For example, people who ask questions assume the risk that the answers they receive may be incorrect. Likewise, people who read and answer questions assume the risk that they may be exposed to points which they find offensive. Using Yahoo! is similar to paying taxes; If you don't agree with them, move. Nobody is forcing you to use Yahoo!, so if you don't like it, don't use it.

I've asked the same thing. And I can't tell you how many porn messages were sent to my email. I guess sick is just sick. And I've asked yahoo I can't tell you how many times. how to put a stop to it so those of us can get genuine questions answered. And all I get are emails from sickos telling me how I'm too serious, it's just a big joke ,and some really offensive sexually explicit things. So I hear ya. I guess we just gotta keep complaining.

Eh, vulgarity is only as big of an issue as you make it out to be. Personally I don't have a problem with vulgarity, it's an efficient means of expressing what you have to say. What bothers me is when people replace vulgar words with other phrases such as 'Fudge', using it to mean the exact same thing, and somehow think they're not swearing. One should either be for swearing or against swearing, and personally, I think you should be for it.

Oops. I came in the wrong door. I thought this was the room to discuss how some people need to get their knickers all in a twist just cos someone else has a potty-mouth.

I'll leave quietly so the door doesn't hit me in the azz on the way out.

Food poisoning? That's so lame, are you the most boring person ever? Should I be saving screen shots of this page to submit for a world record? This is the INTERNET, bad stuff happens here, were you expecting it to be all nice and happy? Does it make YOU feel big to make fun of people who swear a lot, I bet it does. Putting people down, always makes you feel better than them, even if you don't realize it.

A girl asked a question about people's favorite angry phrases to day, and I replied with a number of swear words that I use on the road in L.A. What's wrong with that? I like to express myself with passion! So when I'm in traffic and I yell (with my windows up, I don't want to get shot or anything) F you and your mama you mother f'n piece of shi* as* hole, son of a bit*h - it isn't because I'm not educated, it is because I'm quite a character.

I have a bigger problem with those who just can not stop turning this site into either a porn chat or another personal ads quarter
