I am doing an Angels and Demons like theme for a photography set I want to put together. Looking for some ideas.
Please post specific places/things or vaque ideas.

It is ALL about symbols. That said, it is also about "very old school" too, you'll have to find some very old things to photograph -- I wish you'd said where you live.
Some things have an archetypal nature -- leafless trees, secluded cabins, darkness/moon light those things you can shoot almost immediately.
You might enjoy some flavors of 'folk art', meaning visit some of the remote old catholic churches in New Mexico that blended an isolated culture with Catholicism for some amazing results.
There is a "sect" if that is the right word of Penitents who still whip themselves in Northern New Mexico.
Beyond the obvious Masonic connection with our forefathers in America and the skull and bones ivy leaguers, most of the secret societys were in Europe.
And you can also have "implied symbolism", using keys, clocks, machinery, tools, and the like in your imagery as well.
