Yes !! You are not alone, your fan base should prove that to you by now, silly wabbit. I have alot of joy because I have control over my own mind and partial control over the happiness of those around me. I can also keep myself entertained with the smallest amount of stimulation. I don't think I'm super special, anyone can use their imagination to make themselves happy or entertained. For example, last night I was out standing in my yard admiring the full moon and contemplateing my position on our lovely planet. I concluded that I was at a slight tilt but almost straight out being located a little above the equator in Florida. Then I imagined your degree of tilt where you are and if gravity suddenly let loose of us which direction we would fly and how the rotation would affect our ascent. O.K. I'll stop rambleing on. But you get the idea.

I think christians/religious folks see life for what it is much the same as an atheist or an agnostic. But because it is such an ugly picture overall I think they NEED to feel like there is a reason why so many bad things happen to so many good people.
The random chance idea just does not sit well with them...so they created a reason why things we humans perceive as "evil" exists...so man created God. Unfortunately when man created God to answer the question "why are we here"...the answer they gave merely opened up a whole can of worms with more mind numbing questions...that is why currently if you are a religious person you are not allowed to think for yourself, saves sooo much trouble.
Anyway, athiests and agnostics typically have a much more joyful life because they are not surrounded by hypocritical, ego driven religious nuts who are always issuing decrees on how other people need to live their life...we just live our life any ol'way we see fit...christians be damned!!

Yes, living as an Atheist gives you an advantage no non-Atheist will have, and that's to see life as it is. That's when you see things in a really practical and realistic way. But you must be careful not to be emotional whenever facing negative experiences or else you will be equally as lost as the non-Atheist.
See life impartially and neutrally and you will see wisdom.

There is certainly a tendency to see life differently from the religious, but I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that every atheist has the same perspective on life. Everyone approaches life and finds something different, just like the blind men and the elephant.
What we see is what we've been trained so see, what we're exposed to, and generally what fits into our preconceived notions. This means each of us ignores a lot. Only in rare moments of insight can we break out of these boxes.

You're life is what you make of it. As an atheist, I value my life immensely, given the fact that I know its the only one I'll have. You're free to do what you want, instead of sacrificing the joys and pleasures of this world for some imaginary afterlife.
No you're not alone...

Life is a constant struggle whether you believe in God or not. What makes us different is the high amount of faith we put in ourselves, and the incredible inner strength we have.
I think that allows us to have a deep appreciation for life, along with knowing that this is all the time we get. So let's make the most of it.
Yes, I absolutely agree with you.

I depends on how you view life, I see alot of life that is cruel and harsh, but I try not to let it carry over into who and what I am, I try to enjoy every moment and laugh alot.
