Progressive's business model is based on GEICO's (they're near-spinoff companies). I deal with them on a daily basis and really have enjoyed their professionalism and speed with which they handle claims. Did you know if you are involved in an accident Progressive will try to call everyone involved within 2 hours of your report (again, GEICO does the same). Progressive is Direct insurance (no agents involved), so if you have a question in the middle of the night you can call them. They're open 24-7 with live people to answer all of your queries. I was also insured by them a few years back and when I had an accident they took very good care of me and my passenger...Working in the insurance biz has made me realize that going thru an agent is silly...it's like playing telephone to get your answers...with Progressive you just give them a buzz and someone is there--all the darned time! :D

Progressive is a leader among all the insurance companies. They are the company that set the pace for improving service
in all the other comapnies. Most claims are settled within one day. Progressive will come to the scene of the accident if you call them. There is no better. I represented them for almost 25 yrs. My husband said even if our rate went up he wouldn't change companies, he's so satisfied with the way they handle
our claims.

Depends on your record and what type of coverage you are looking for. I am with farmers Ins. and Have had an accident with them and had it resolved within 3 weeks. I had the loan paid off and EVERYTHING was taken care of.They have had the lowest rates and great customer service. The off discounts for adding homw owners insurance with them.

I have been using GEICO for everything recently, wow what low prices, and they even have a 7 year mechanical warranty on new cars you buy.

I had progressive for my motorcycle, not the cheapest, but when I got into a wreck, they were right there to help me out, and didn't ***** one bit about spending money.

They ripped me off for about 8 years, I keep getting these class action lawsuit letters wanting me to pursue the "lawsuit." I don't have time or interest in doing that. I don't care for them. I like Motorist Mutual. They saved me $400. annually and they fixed my husbands claim fast.

Yes, they are very good. I've been driving with them for six years. I also have a clean driving record. This past payment period they knocked $500 dollars off of my bill.

I highly recommend them!
