I am thinner than I think I am. I get the most true information out a picture, never the mirror. Here is my never ending moment of confusion. I hold up any piece of clothing and I think there is NO WAY I can wear that, it's way too little. But it fits and I can't believe it, and make no mistake, this can happen with a shirt or pants I've had for years now.... I am very aware that my mental self image lags behind my true self, but I am kind, patient about it...
The day I realized I was too heavy it came from a picture of my face. I was so upset, I showed it around and asked people, is this a good picture of me or what? When they made like it was no big deal, not an awful picture, I knew I wasn't seeing the truth.

I heard a saying somewhere that "you never know how stoopid you look, til you git your pickture took!" Well, I don't know about stupid, but that definitely goes for fat/thin. I put on about 15-20 pounds a couple of years ago and had NO IDEA until I saw a picture of myself busting out of my size 2 white pants! How embarassing!! In my mind, I was still the cute petite person I had always been. Needless to say, that was the catalyst for me to start dieting and getting fit, and now I am back to the bod I had when I was 18...or so I think. ;)

Actually I feel heavier than I appear. Its because I have been pregnant and also gained alot of weight at one time in my life... The feeling of being heavy never goes away.
When I am currently toning up....I am always taking pictures of myself so I can see what I really look like because I can't tell in the mirror.

I am always surprised when I try tops or dresses on at the store and find out I can't get out of them...that's why I always shop for clothes with my daughter. I still don't feel like I'm fat but my days of being really skinny are long gone.

I know exactly what you mean. We had a contest at work and they took our pics and posted them and i wanted to run around and tear my down becasue I didn't think I was THAT fat. Maybe I should lay off the food for a bit.

I think of me-self as a big (190-200 pound) guy (bulk muscle), but I'm pretty skinny (160) and look weired in pics, not "charming and cute"as my body image is
