when i wash my hair, as it air-dries (i don't use a blow-drier because i heard it's bad for your hair) it starts to get frizzy and dry. are there any products out there that i can put in my hair to keep this from happening? would gel or mousse work? my hair is really thick and fairly long so it seems like i'd need a lot of gel to tame it. any tips would be appreciated. thanks in advance!

I do an analogous component different than appropriate as quickly as I get out of the bathe i positioned it in a towel on astonishing of my head and permit it set for like a a million/2 an hour to an hour. and then brush it and pass to mattress. Dont blow dry it. and then interior the morning, there could be some frizzies so basically straighten your hair and then gently moist your palms and then flatten them down and slightly upload hairspray to maintain them down.

My hair gets really frizzy too.
After you wash it spray on Infusium and then just brush it or finger comb it. It's like a miracle!
Also, John Frieda makes this kind of cleam balm...you only have to use about a pea sized amount and comb it through just like the Infusium. Trust me, it's saved me from so many bad hair days. :)

i also had the same problem my hair is thick and frizzy i dont blow dry either. i rub a medium size dab of vo-5 in my hair when it is wet and some stuff called smooth and shine which you will find in the products for black hair ( i am not black ) but it works awsome. it is in a small black tub with pink writeing.use a quarter size and rub thrue hair. then while it is wet twist in small sections and let air dry that way your hair will be smooth and silky feeling when it drys.

a lot of hair care companies now have leave-in conditioners that make your hair really shine, as well as regular shampoos and conditioners. i strongly suggest garnier fructis's sleek and shine line, which includes shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and smoothing milk
you could also try a light serum such as John Frieda's Frizz-Ease. there are many sprays and light gels and mousses designed just for this purpose by brands like redken, garnier fructis, biosilk, tresemme, etc.

good luck!

get this from a salon, silk therapy by farouk.i am a stylist for 15 years and have tried just about everything they make, this works for me and most of my clients, also CHI makes a serum called silk infusion. u can even cocktail ( mix) the silk therapy into your mousse or gel.

The one that said to use farouk silk therapy is right or you can use outshine from redkin. I personally use farouk though. It's amazing and super little goes a super long way.
