Is there any special symbols of flowers? Butterfly? anything that means friendship or sisterhood. I'm looking to get a new tattoo w/ my sister....we want something that means friendship.

What a neat idea! I wish that my sister and me had a close relationship and could do something like that. I have six tattoos and love them all. I have not regretted any of them. I found a site with a pretty Chinese symbol that means friendship. If you need more ideas, your tattoo artist should be able to help you out. Between his or her books and what is up on the wall, to drawing something up for you, I'm sure you will find something that both of you will agree on and that will have special meaning for you. Yellow rose means friendship. You could get 2 yellow roses; 1 at the begining of the name and 1 at the end.1 big rose with name in the yellow part. Rose with name underneath. There are so many options. I wouldn't get any chinese symbols because some people get them then find out that's not what it really means.

Whatever You choose, a word of advice. Put a picture of it in Your Purse, wallet, pocket and everytime for 3 weeks when You sit down(Lunch, coffee, study whatever) take it out and place it where You can see it. If after 3 weeks You still think it looks good - go ahead. Tattoo's (Unlike piercings) are hard as hell (and expensive) to get rid of, and besides....
I don't want anything on Me that will make it easier for a Law Enforcement Agency to identify Me *S*

Has alot to do with personal preferences. Do some research on the tattoo itself but make sure you get a tattooist that you like and trust. And that your both on the same page. Good luck hope you find one you like.

how about twin faires hanging on a moon togehter surrounded by a circle with words forever my sister ? thats jus off the top of my head at 9am in the morning.since i do tatz i usually have something brewing in my head for clients

I think yellow carnations are for friends but you should go with what you like and let that be your symbol instead of using an established symbol.

how about two hands doing the "pinke swear" thing....maybe show enough of the hands to put bracelets on them.
People really crack me up-you were asking for ideas, not permission. You didn't ask, but I think it's a sweet and special idea to share that with your sis.

I don't think it's a good idea at all. It's a mutilation of your skin. It's risky and you can get a skin cancer. Imagine your skin condition with that tattoo when you get old... I don't think it will look cute...

get like a bracelet or a flower with each other names with it i got a rose with my little girls name or get two hearts something that's meaningful to you both
