Your camera might have a visual output cable (can't remember the name, the red, yellow, white cable set up). Connect the camera to the tv using the video cable and what's on the camera display will show on the tv. Pretty simple.

Depending on your camera's output type, you can either connect your camera directly to your TV ( assuming you have a set of A/V inputs on the front/side/or rear of your TV.) Some digital cameras have a Firewire only output ( the thin looking USB like cable that plugs into your computer for tranferring photos) Some also include an AV out which allows you to connect a specialized
adapter that has a single 1/8" phono ( similar to a small headphone jack) on one end, and a set of A/V ( Red, White and Yellow) connections that would match the inputs on your TV.

Once connected to your TV, use the TV menu to select the input mode for your TV ( a/v 1, a/v 2 etc., whichever applies) and turn your camera on to the playback mode. If everything is connected correctly, you should see input from your camera ( a menu page of some sort) on the TV screen. If your TV does not have these AV inputs, but you have a VCR, you can plug your cables into the VCR instead of the TV and select the appropriate input mode on the VCR. The next step is depends on how your camera is set up. If it has a simple play function, press it and your pictures should be displayed like a slide show on your TV. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Though many digital cameras come with both a/v out puts and ac adapters, you generally will get better results by down loading your photos to a cd (dvd etc.) and playing them on your tv via a dvd player. This also gives you the option of editing them first. You can even add captions, crop, rotate, all sorts of things before the big slide show,
