I'm making an inventory list for work. It's a table. Starting off, it went onto 2 pages. I have a header, that showed on the top of both pages. I managed to change the font until it's all on one page. BUT the 2nd page is still showing...it's blank, except for the header on the top of the page. I've tried to use the "office assistant" & asked it how to delete that 2nd, un-needed page. I only need the 1st page, but it's not helping. Can anyone tell me how to delete that 2nd page, so only 1 will print? Thanks!

I managed to delete the header from the 2nd page, but the blank page is still there. I tried putting the cursor @ the end of page one & deleting & backspacing & putting it @ the beginning of the blank 2nd page, doing the same & it's still there. If it were just a matter of printing it, I wouldn't mind to go ahead & let the 2nd page be blank, but my boss wants a copy of this emailed to him & I don't want that 2nd blank page lingering there...don't want it to look like I don't know what I'm doing (which it already looks like I don't, lol)

either move your bottom margin up or start deleting the invisible text on page #2.

Try moving the cursor to the end of the very last word in your document on the 1st page.

Then, hit the delete button on your keyboard until the 2nd page dissappears. This should delete any data that would be creating the 2nd page. This may work depending on what the issue is. It's worked for me with some word documents that I work with at work.

Your table is just a tad too long for one page. You will have to "play" with the margins, spacing, font ...

- Can you fudge on the margins any? Reduce just a little?
- Read it over. Can anything be deleted?
- What size font are you using? I don't think you want to go below 10.
- Any blank lines - can they be deleted?

If you have the font down to 10, using for exampleTms Roman which is proportional, select all the text.
cl Format
cl Paragraph
look for "use spacing" -- set for single -- and in the box next to it, set it for .9 (90%). This will eliminate a little space between lines but it is still readable.
- click the "show/hide" button on the toolbar -- looks like a paragraph mark next to percentage sign.
Look just below the table. You will see a paragraph mark. Select it and change font size to maybe 5.

Every little bit of fudging helps.

Try to delete the header from the second page then move your courser up on the first page. That will save some space on the first page.

I would take the header off then try deleting the page if that's what is causing it to not delete.

in case you click on the teach/cover icon (apparently fairly like a backwards pointing letter p) you'll see what has brought with regard to the 2d web page. regularly that's because you've pressed the enter key and were given some sparkling lines on the bottom of the document that you do not favor. you want to delete those - as anybody else has suggested. once you've complete - you should actually exhibit teach/cover.

Simply place your cursor immediatly after the last character on your list and press the Delete key several times. This should do the trick.
