America & Great Britain have been materially blessed beyond all others.In spie of our disobedience to God's laws, He has been faithful to His promise and extremely merciful. How long will this last? How long before He removes that blessing and allows the curses of Leviticus 26 to overwhelm the present power of the U.S.? We will no longer be able to influence world events! America has not won a war since 1945. Do you se any instances today where America seems to be losing its powers little by little?

Our existance depends on our relationship with Israel. The Word of God says regarding Israel "I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who curse you."
America and Britain have only enjoyed such history because we have been an allie with Israel and so far have been rather faithful to that.
However lately I am concerned with our seemingly deferrance to the UN on matters pertaining to Israel.
Israel should never have agreed to yet another worthless "Ceasefire" so that the UN could help Hamas and Hezzbolah rearm themselves.
If we are truly serious about terrorism it will take Israel, Britain and the United States to band together regardless of UN endorsement. They are obviously either Impotent, or worse.....

Daniel 2:44 says God's Kingdom will crush and put an end to ALL other kingdoms (governments). The US and Great Britain are the 7th dragon. The United Nations is the 8th. God's Kingdom is the next and the last to rule the earth. It could happen any minute. Everyone will know it has begun when the governments close all of the false religions. It is God who has put it in their hearts to do this.

All the OT prophets blamed Israel's constantly getting conquered on "sin." Not to inject any military history here, but ultimately the large force with better logistics may get beaten in battles, but not in the war. Japan lost the war in the pacific because they had half our population and a fifth of our production capacity. Nagumo himself said he could run wild for six months to a year before the US would crush the Imperial Navy with it's superior logistics and manpower. Now we are making the mistake the other imperial powers made of bleeding our forces in wars of economic imperialism. God has nothing to do with it. A commander-in-chief who hid from Vietnam in the Texas guard, a VP who got five draft deferments, a peace time pilot and a math professor cooked up the Iraq war. The only curse here is the evangelical capitalist chicken hawks running our military instead of seasoned veterans.

America will continue to be the world power for the next decade. After this new super powers like China and India will emerge and bring some balance and order to the world. This does not mean that America will collapse or go into obscrunity, It just means that there will be some counter weight to America and It will think twice before it does something unilaterally.

I don't know about losing our power, but I think there's coming a point (and soon, in my opinion) that God is going to get fed up with us and our selfishness. Like you said, he has been very merciful, but I think he is going to reach a point where His patience will run out. The arrogance and just plain lack of respect (or even recognition) of God's power has gotten worse as time goes on. Whether they believe it or want to accept it, those that refuse to trust in Jesus will face an angry God. But it's not too late- "Today is the day of salvation".

America is just a little over 200 years old, in my religion, we believe that many nations are destroyed, but before time get warnings, but we are taught that any punishment will come unexpectly, we do not know when or if, the best way is to prepare ourselves by doing good deeds, in the same context, one of us can die tommorow, we should always do good deeds as if we are going to die tommorow and live forever.
