The traditional lap dance is performed nude or topless while wearing a thong. The actual dance is basically the girl rubbing her butt on the guy's lap, together with rubbing her breasts in his face, the 2 not necessarily occurring at the same time.

Do you want him for his body and a quickie or for the person he is and possibly a long-term relation?
If you start with a lap dance to get the guy to like you, it will never get better. He will date you for the sex, then probably go after another skirt when one comes along.
Just be yourself. FLirt with him, pick at him, but don't be needy. Guys want a true girl with self-respect. The ones you see on "Girls gone Wild" are good for one-night stands, but not for a long-term relation.

Does he know who you are? I would feel a little awkward if a girl I didnt know came up to me and started giving me a lap dance. Now if I knew her and was dating her...yeah that would be nice.

I don't think a lap dance would be a good idea. If you have a crush let him know in your own way.(moral) and let it blossom. One thing that turns boys off is when girls push themselves on them.

first off, how old are you? lap dances are great... go to a strip club, if you're old enough, and find out. if you're not old enough, it's probably something you shouldn't even be thinking about.

i think if you like him and he respects you that you shouldn't have to do anything sexual or sexually inviting until you two are acutally in a relationship or if you are sure that he likes you
if you think that he will only notice you or will only like you if you do something like this then you deserve better.
think about it before you do anything
