No. Being gay is perfectly normal and is mostly genetic. Raping ones daughter is just pure evil. It would not make you gay unless you were born with a tendency to be gay. Accept yourself as you are and stop looking for causes. And I hope your father is rotting in prison for what he did!

OK, first of all- if you know your dad raped your sister, why didn't you bring this to the attention of the church??? He does NOT need to have a powerful position like that in the church. He needs to be in the congregation, NOT the pulpit!! I don't know if that made you gay, but I'm sure that it had a serious affect on you.

I'm sure that probably had something to do with it. Understanding that you don't have to follow in his footsteps to be heterosexual or religious would probably help but I am no doctor.
