You didn't say if he was on a Tourist Visa. He might be just on a day trip or going to Disney land or something.

If you are talking about the USA / Mexican border, which I think you might be, then there are probably thousands of people who have the name "Jesus" crossing illegally every day.

However if you are talking about any other border, of which thousands exist all over the World then your answer would be different.

You neglected to even give any hint to which border you are referring to but I assume you mean the US/MX border because only Americans think that there is no one else in the World who uses the internet and that everyone should know what they are talking about, even if they might live 10,000 miles away in a completely different Country.

Fairly jingoistic, don't you think? We established this country by massacre and killing the buffalo to starve them out. We deprive much of Mexico from water resources while California towns fight over water rights to the Colorado River, held back by it's dams. Somehow, it seems fitting that the indians from Mexico, or elsewhere might regain some ground that was systematically and deceiptfully taken from them. Is there no moral compass to governments? Should compassion end at a country's borders, or is compassion something that is unrelated to patriotism, jingoism, and the feeling of superiority by "divine right?"

You make your point about as strong as possible for border security as your moral absolute by suggesting that we should shoot even Jesus if He should illegally cross the border into America. Why do I think you would shoot your mother if she lived in Mexico and was coming to visit you without proper papers.? You take a very strong stand on a very gray issue, IMHO.

Mexicans and Central Americans are doing what I hope that I would do in similar circumstances. Able-bodied people are slipping into the U.S. because of their desire to support their starving families. That is noble in my book. Sure there are problems with fugitives from justice, but I rather doubt that illegal aliens have added much if any to the overwhemingly violent nature of our culture. They are doing work and providing inexpensive products for us. This we demand above everything else. Just look at Wal-Mart. They provide good products cheaply, so we go there in spite of the horrible effects on local economies and the decimation of local stores. It's all about the deal and having a broad choice of consumer products. Consumerism continues to rise to greater peaks each year. It's time something turns around and very soon. We are becoming a hard people who cares nothing about people in foreign countries, and not much more about each other.

Are you nuts? Border brokers do not shoot unarmed Mexicans crossing the border till they're in risk (e.g, the unlawful alien criminal has a gun and is capturing at them). if in case you've faith that Ramos and Compeon were out to shoot Mexicans - incorrect!!!

You would shoot Jesus?!
Even if his green-card said "Hey-zoos de Cristo"?
What if his donor card said his next of kin was "Dios"?
I imagine Jesus would show up in a beat-up Toyota Corolla....with all twelve apostles riding in the back. That sounds about right for Jesus and a bunch of illegal immigrants.
He was,after all,an unassuming man.

HUMANS have the right to live upon this Earth. Considering Jesus was a human, NO, I would not shoot him based on his desire to coss our border.

I would not shoot him but if he was coming into the US with say an illegal alien under each arm I would certainly not be very happy. Now if he is going into mexice with the illegals then I would help him.

The Sargent had his troops all lined up for Target Practice. Suddenly he yelled "Fire at Will".
A man dropped his rifle and ran like the Dicken's.
Guess what his name was?
