fall colors def except not just orange, like a light tangerine, maroons, cream not white, and leaf green

In September, any fall-ish type color will work. Blues, pinks, yellows, browns, oranges, greens...all in a slightly darker shade.
What would probably be best is if you pick a color based on what will look best on your bridesmaids. There is such a wide range of colors that will look beautiful, that it might be counterproductive to fall in love with a particular color before seeing how it will look on your maids.

My cousin got married in October and his wife's colours were a really pretty chocolate brown with the orange, yellow and red fall colours of leaves. The pictures were gorgeous.

Different shades of purple. Or light yellow with a rose bouqet that has a few yellow plumeria in it!

A cousin of mine is getting married this weekend and their colors are gold, orange and red. The bride loves fall and she also loves turkey and pumpkin pie.

September is so tricky i would love to help but i need some details . your hair color your skin tone if your wearing white and such . but generally i would say pale blues, dove grey , whites and silver they will help to light up your skin and make you the center of attention! if you end up picking jewel tones go with gold accessories , anything to loud or wacky will fight with nature in September. congrats and relax you have some time to figure it out

early sept i would say sapphire, the birthstone color, but if it is late sept, maybe go fall themed with warm colors...deep reds or warm warm yellows and fall harvest themed flowers can look so beautiful!
