There are a fair number of hotels around Interstate 65 at exit 172 (SR 26), ranging from Motel 6 to Comfort Suites. Many of the hotels are fairly new, built in the last ten years or so. I don't think that you can go wrong with any of them. There's also a fairly new Holiday Inn Select in downtown that seems to be on the luxurious side. That might be a good choice.

If you are looking to be in town during a weekend of a Purdue football home game, book early as they can sell out quickly.
