I am looking for a good first dance song, however it cannot be an overplayed song. We are looking for one of those songs that are great, but not mainsteam. Any ideas??

well i think that this is something super special to a couple my fiance and i are using God Blessed The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. we chose this brcause it reminds us of us and how we came to be together.
That's what you need to think about.... your history together first and the important things about you two being together.. it doesn't matter if it's overplayed or not.. write down 5 songs that just make you think of how much you love her whenever you hear it and she should do the same.. i'm sure the two of you will have atleast one in common or you can write down 10 songs apiece. don't rely on others, just your feelings for each other, bc nobody knows better than the 2 of you how yall feel about each other look at the one(s) that yall have in common and go from there.. My husbnd and I used a song that we thought was special to us, choose a song that you and your future wife find important and special to the both of you (1st song danced to, 1st song had 1st kiss, whatever song that has some significance to the both of you)

My husband and I danced to Love of a Lifetime by Firehouse but if you find a slow song that you both love use that.

we are dancing to Elvis's loopy aspect referred to as love. we are extremely taking dance instructions to study the jitterbug. Its fairly uncomplicated yet we adore to bop besides. So it helps plenty.
