I am 31 but I look really young (people usually think that I am about 19 or 20). I get frustrated because I feel like anyone my age or older thinks I am too young and they won't approach me. I just ended a relationship with someone that was 15 yrs. older but we knew each other for awhile before we started dating, so he knew my age. Any suggestions on how to get an older mans attention if he doesn't know me?

For starters, dress a little "smarter". Not older, smarter. It could be that if you are perceived to be younger, you are also perceived to be less intelligent (lack of maturity, wisdom).
Next, engage in conversation that helps betray a bit of your age (19 year olds don't go too deep into politics, current events, professional topics).
Finally, don't be afraid to let people know your age. At parties, it will get around and men will be astonished. That alone will get you a look sometimes.
But, you also must know, men might just be afraid to approach you. If you do look that young and that good, most men in this age group may just be afraid you are "out of their league", and therefore, unapproachable.
I can't believe I am giving advice to someone in your position, or that you believe your stunning and youthful looks are a bit of a "curse". If I were only in your position.....

I think older men would love to date you. Their having what you call someone that's not too young for them but looks like what their ideal is a teenager. Older teenager of course of age. So you shouldn't have any problems they just need to know your the age you're. Just do what you did with your last guy be friends and they'll know you for who you're maturity wise and all. Believe me they'll be happy to know you're age but look that young not that 31 is old or looks old either!!!

Melaney basically hit it on the target, the only thing I would possibly add would be to suggest that you talk to me -- I would love to date someone in that age group that looked younger! LOL! I don't think that any man would mind having a attractive young-looking woman on his arm!
BTW, I have a similar problem in that I look younger that I am also. Don't think of it as a curse -- just enjoy the blessing!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with dating whom ever you have an affinity with. Whether through age or otherwise.
Depends on your outlook and the other person concerned.
However if you are worried about your appearance, change it somewhat to look older. Grow a moustache. It may help. It's what inside that counts.

Well since I like to date younger woman anyway, no I wouldn't mind at all. Flirt with him, ask him out to lunch, be friendly and outgoing etc. If he doesn't get a clue, move on.

go to a place with alochol and act the age you are and get a blind date who is your age and party and then dump him infort of the guy you want but if you really like the guy your age dont dump him
