Or a great way? I thought about becoming a preacher man, but I just could not lower my morals far enough.
Anyhow, not long before they make one of these you can pass around http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=2527654

Personally, I don't believe that the religious persons are living an authentic life. That being said, I like to think that I am living my life in the real world trying to deal with real life problems. That might make me sad or angry often, but its only cause real life is tough.
I have many happy moments.
Religion was originally invented to control labor and keep the money at the top of the society.
Currently we hear stories about "and i went to that church and the man was saying to the couple if the church needed money what would you do?"
but what we don't hear is the stories of those pastors at churches who aren't in it for the money and who actually are making a difference in peoples lives.
Now, for some to go from one inathentic life of an addiction for another, is still living inathentically, however, its clearly less harmful to society to have alcoholics, sex addicts, and violent people put their addiction into jesus.

It's a great way to make money! Look at the amenities some of these pastors and churches have. It seems to me that that money could be a lot better spent helping the poor and needy. Imagine how much some of these televangelists make....most have at least two homes, while many of those they bilk have none. Be interesting to see what Jesus would make of these hypocrites.

According to L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology, "the best way to make a million dollars is to start up a religion."

I agree. Religion is the best scam going. They are supposed to be non-political, but they have preachers telling their congregation who to vote for, etc. If you change your mind, e-mail me. We could get a fun church going. I've read the Bible....I can talk the talk.

No, religion is not just a good way to make money.
It's also a good way to get a sea of faithful minions swimming around your feet.
