Maybe the F.B.I can hire you if you can communicate with aliens from other planets.

Hi,
If it is useful for the job than sure go ahead.... But if it is irrelevant to the position, keep it to yourself.... Every time I state that I speak X number of languages I am turned down..., so I keep a low profile.... People are afraid when you have too much knowledge... They think they'll loose you after 6 months as soon as you find a better job....
Do you also know the name of the 88 constellations by heart?
I do... , but why would I write this on an application.... I never applied at NASA anyway....lol...
Hope this helps... and Good Luck!

Sure, I guess, but you might want to write it in the "hobbies and personal interests" section.
I think you're thinking of Klingon. It's true that some people speak Klingon, but I don't know if it's possible to speak it "fluently" because I don't think that much of the language has been created.

I once knew someone whose husband spoke it all the time. There is a society and they are translating the Bible into it and the complete works of Shakespeare.
I would only put it on your cv if you are going for a job where the position description requires you to be a complete tosser.

Klingon? I would definitely put it on there! You never know a straight tied, closely shaven, dandruff free manager might actually be raving mad Treky!
I used to study Lakota, I put in on there at the time it was relevant (can't remember anything now as didn't keep it up).

You speak fluently a language you don't even know the name of and that you don't know anyone else who speaks it? Sounds suspicious to me.

You can write anything you like on your CV. The real question is, 'will it help you to get a job?'

If the place your applying to work at is known to be a cool laid back kinda place then it could increase your chance of getting that job!

Don't agree with others. That knowledge could be useful in many areas, for instance, national security. Imagine if you could communicate naturally with other colleagues, with no encryption in between, since a few mortals understand your tongue... So i will hire you for national security.

Also, put it on your resume that you graduated Clingon Warrier Academy. I saw a bupmer sticker like this and I was LMFAO
