Heres the thing, I see this really beautiful girl almost everyday after work, she works as a cashier in a store. I havent really said all that much to her, and there is no ring on her ring finger (good sign right?) How would one go about moving towards possibly asking her out? A friend of mine suggested I just tell her I think she is really beautiful. But to me, that seems pretty bold just sticking my neck out there like that. I'm kind of a shy guy so any female thoughts or advice on this would be very welcome.

Well, realize that she must be hit on by guys all day long so she might naturally be defensive and quick to cut down any of the jerks who try to ask her out.
However, do not fret, you just need to project to her that you are not just one of the millions of jerks lusting after her and wanting just to jump her bones.
You need to let her know that you think she is an interesting person and that you would like to speak to her some more perhaps over coffee or something at say Starbucks (or other public non-date like place).
Is there anyone else at the store that knows her or may be able to tell you a little something more about her (favorite book or movie, etc.)? Perhaps a few times in her line just chat her up about the weather or a new movie that is out and see if she is interested. You need to get her talking about innocuous things so that she is more comfortable with you before you ask her out.

I know the best way to do this. You say you hardly talked to the girl. Try striking up a conversation first of all with out going out right away. If you seem interested and if she seems interested just casually give her your phone number and ask for hers in exchange. Then once youv'e talked a few times, maybe ask her out to eat for a night or something like that.

have the confidence to just ask her if she would like to go out sometime with you or go for coffee somewhere and talk. read tips on dating and flirting to help you better on this site
