Getting a job does not rely on your certification alone - it's also about you and the interview. There are still people with engineering degrees that can't get jobs. There's no way of knowing what the job situation is like in your area (which you don't state), so it's an unanswerable question.

Depends on the exact certification(s) but currently there is a lot of demand for people in the oil and gas industry so it should not take long if you look in the right places.

hehe! it will be hard! but you have to try! maybe you are so lucky that you'l receive a job sooner than another person,who has 100000 certifications!!!!! MAYBE! in conclusion... you had better not to care about your technical career and to live your life doing the homeless! it sound good!;-) sorry... I was joking!hehe
