Go into detail, any diet and/or fitness program that is really effective would help. I'm looking to build muscle everywhere and lose a lot of fat.Any help would be great.

The best thing you can do to prepare for basic training is going to be the same thing they do there.

Run, run, and run some more.
Pushups and situps (do these during TV commercials don't stop until the show comes back on, you'd be shocked how much this will wear you out during an hour of TV)
Pull-ups (don't know if you have a bar around to do them, but practice)

Make sure your diet has a lot of protein. If you run a lot, you could probably add some carbs to your diet to help you with longer runs)
