Sounds like you may need to reconsider your major unless you get lucky and someone does your electronics design homework for you.

Your boss would fire you in the real world for not being able to solve problems like the one in your assignment.

BTW, since we're talking about Cal State Chico, named as #1 party school once upon a time, are there any smart sorority girls in your class?

The idea is that PSPICE is supposed to simulate the behavior of the circuit - not building the actual circuit. I did download and read the design project and the asker has to pass this component in order to receive a passing grade for the course.

I am trying, but do not know how to explain in words. Furthermore, Yahoo Answer doesn't come with drawpad.

But seems to me is a 2nd question for electronic engineering studies.

A good suggestino for you if you break the question part by part and solve it within.

Firstly, build a circuit as shown in the circuitry drawing. Get a DC Meter and Oscilloscope to capture the all the DC input voltage, Current Injected and Current Gain at the transistor. Somewhere of the Resistor has to be variable type (My best Guess is Rc). R1 and R2 is either precalculated or the R1 and R2 is given by the lecturer.

To get a full mark on this, make sure you draw a graph in your report that clearly mark the Current Gain in respect of the Vcc Input with respect to each variable resistor value.

If there is tutoring available at your school sign up for it! There is too much in this question for easy answering.
