You don't. Basically, Amish are born, not made. It may be possible to be "adopted in," but I've never heard of it, and I lived among Amish in Pennsylvania as a child. They kept themselves to themselves most of the time, although we got to meet them at Zern's Farmer's Market on Saturdays. Nice people, but very quiet and not easy to get to know.

You can't become amish overnight. You must give up your modern day clothes, appliances, home, everyhting that isn't plain and simple, then you would have to find an amish home in an amish community.....

You could marry an Amish man but his whole community will shun you and kick him out of the community, basically you have to be born amish.

You don't. But a start would be to throw out every single one of your modern electrical/electronic luxuries and adapt to life without them. Learn how to cook and clean from scratch. Start wearing very modest dresses and tops with skirts and grow your hair out. Wearing pants and showing skin are considered a no-no. I could be wrong but I believe that they follow a Quaker belief system.
