Why is it that uneducated men with no college and a mundane physical labor job always need to know where a woman works? Especially on the first date? Is it any of their business? Why are men so darn nosy and busy bodies like fags? Why do a man always want a woman with something when he has nothing? Does he think no one will notice or question him? Why don't guys know it's the man's job to work, not the woman's? Does Kevin Federline have his own cult?

A job determines a person's values? Whew! Americans have really lost it! No job has nothing to do with values unless you are a priest, and how many women are priests (0)? The only job that determines who you are is the military a.k.a sorry excuse for a murderer.
You better support your woman, it is the man's job to keep up the house, if you can't do it, get six jobs until you can.

I don't think physical labor jobs are lazy, they just always want a woman more educated than them.

they want a woman to keep their sorry a** up. they are a prize, girl, even though they are missing teeth, look like he**, wear hideous clothes, have no hair (or worse, the grease-mullet), drive a '76 vega with bondo fendors, and live in a beat up trailer (or with their mother). give the boy a chance. he will rock your world when his beer-clouded mind realizes you are sitting there on his decaying sofa with free-to-him pizza, MORE beer, and rent money (didn't he mention on your first date he was 3 months behind on his rent, and 3 years behind on his child support?)

I believe that this crosses a mans mind b/c he wants to see how high on the food chain she falls. A typical male will not (i'm not saying all) approve of a female with a position/status higher than himself. If she holds a position with a lot of power he might get intimidated and not want to see her again. He might think that will not be compatible b/c she holds a corporate job and he works for a day to day laborous job. He might think "well in public what will people think? My other half wears a power suit and I wear a tool belt to work. Hmm this does not seem right." Like I said not all males think this way but a majority do.

I think you will find it also pertains to the other side of the coin as well. Most men don't always ask, generally you will find it's a personality thing. They can generally find out what the person is like by there employment.
It's also a conversation breaker.I must admit in this day and age men have become rather lazy in there outlook and also more violent.
Look at the statistics of Males at college, who and how many pass on Education without the help of college football etc.
Not many.

Why are you dating men who have "nothing"? That seems a little silly. I'm assuming they ask for the same reason I ask, to find out what I spend the bulk of my time on. It could wind up being an area of common interest, it gives information about a person's values, focus. Most often it isn't a make-it-or-break-it, it's just an important part of getting to know someone.

He invisions a life of loafing on the couch and staying home all day with the kids while you go to work and have to come home at night and cook and clean because he did nothing all day...For some reason these guys have no intention of ever having a career and supporting a wife and kids... They just go from worthless job to worthless job and don't plan for the future. I don't get it either.

Wow, you are sensitive!
Most human beings just like to know about other human beings as a matter of interest. Maybe you work at Ben and Jerry's as a taster. Wouldn't that be cool? You could spend the whole date just talking about how COOL that is!

Asking someone where they work is just normal conversation. Since it strikes you as nosy, maybe you're into something that is embarrassing. You certainly don't know anything about gays.
