penguins of course only live in the antarctic but a purloined egg, transported quickly to the other end of the poles would be consumed gratefully by many hungry northern spieces including me if feeling,,,,, 'more than peckish'.

Penquin eggs are not in the arctic circle because there are no penquins hench forth they can not eat what they do not have

The penguin is a sacred bird, to native Eskimo's. It would be committing a sacrilege to eat one of the eggs. In their belief, the penguin is a god.
