Yeah, it's a great story, isn't it? Someone had a good imagination when they wrote that one up.
You know, they actually found a strip of land in that region that when the water levels are low enough (from droughts or whatnot) it connects the two pieces of land? And if it rains, it is almost instantly covered by water again? There's a lot of speculation out there that this is exactly what happened when he "parted the water".
Even if thats not the case, are you so apt to believe anything you read that you take this as fact?

Moses might want to section the water only because God allowed it to happen. He couldn't do it on his own devoid of God's help because he became only a guy. Jesus, in spite of the indisputable fact that, did each little thing on his own. he's God and He has the potential to do some thing.

Not hardly.
Moses served in the house that belonged to God. (Isreal was the house.)
Jesus walked in the house as its owner.
Jesus also raised the dead, something Moses never did.

well, Moses didnt part anything, God did, Moses only did what god told him to do and raised his staff and then god parted the sea. Moses showed faith and God rewarded him for it.
