I've been wondering the same thing.
I think he got tired of all the abuse.
Hope he learned that his bigoted ideas were not religion.
Nor were they following the teachings of Jesus.
Actually he taught me that many of my answers were arrogant and stupid. Made me take a good hard look at what I was saying to people.

He is still around, still answering and posting questions. He is simply on at different times of the day. He has also changed his avatar's image; too many people were making crass mock-ups of his picture.

Oh, I saw him the other day on a question in another category. He is up to level 7 and seems to be doing well.
