We christinas some times turn to darkness in front our kids which becomes a bad example to them.How to avoid this?

anger is a symptom of insecurity or fear. Do some soul searching and seek in The Word for insight.God will reveal the root and help you tear down the strongholds (thought patterns) that lead to bad behavior.
The wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

We try to guide our kids to become just like us.You are right,if our way of life is wrong,we teach bad things to our kids.They will not turn from it.
We should train them the good part of our lives not the bad ones.We should check and double check in side of us,then decide what is good for our kids.Self criticism is also helpful

If your version of what a Christian is is by acting like one, as in being 'good' your dark times are going to make you look like a hypocrite. The child will see eventually.
If you teach your child that we must trust God through His promises, and that we are not perfect, the child will have a better chance of thinking that his or her parents have it right. As soon as the perfection doctrine is initiated, you will lose your credibility with the child.

i pray on a daily basis for God to alter my steps and to make my thoughts and speech acceptable in His sight

Stay in a good bible believing church, read the bible some each day and pray.

Like scripture says, "Teach" ....if you are taught the right way you will come back to it if you stray.
