We just got a passport for our 1 year old. It explicity states that he/she must sign the passport before it is valid and can be accepted by a customs official. I mean - come on - how can a one year old sign a passport? Suggestions?

just sign it yourself and tell anyone who ask , your child is extremely talented. if they ask her to right her name, tell them she is shy around people she doesn't know

If they're under 18, then a Parent or Guardian can legally sign for them on Passports and other offical documents.
