That's the whole point. Spirit is mind. We can travel anywhere
in Creation just by thinking about it.
Therefore, we must learn self-control.
Jesus said, "As you believe, so shall it be."

Yes, but only in certain modes. The most common one is sleep/dreams. The problems with believing in something without question in the day time is that you have a built in inhibitor to prevent you from doing foolish and dangerous things.
There is also group think. That's where you have a bunch of people around you expressing one opinion. Pretty soon, you'll get affected and start to believe what everyone else believes. It's a type of peer pressure that can skew even simple facts.
You can buy a device or build a device that lets you have conscious thoughts while dreaming. So everything is very real to you, but you can still say no. So it's half way there to what you are saying. Sorry, forgot to add this.

You can look into hypnosis, astral projection, and meditation, but that's about it.

Possibly, but it requires discipline, concentration and a strong sound mind. Know when to walk away from an experiment. The real danger here is convincing yourself of something that isn't real. Your time might be better spent looking within for true spirituality.

You have always been making (making is different than creating) your own "reality". That reality is a projection, or perception... perception is a wish fulfilled. With the slightest thought, you form worlds.
We are, as one Self, forming the world...as a whole, and as what we think of as en masse.

No.
Thinking doesn't make things real. Thoughts are real in the sense that you think them, whatever that means, but nothing is created by thinking alone.
Thinking could lead to actions to create things, which would be real.

your perception is your reality.
however, your perception is not likely to be someone else's reality, therefore, it is only real to you
