Hope you're not referring to a 'secret' rapture. The Bible speaks of Christ's second coming as being an event in which every person alive (and those who died believing in Him) will know what's going on!
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
1 Thessalonians 4:16

You are misinformed on the series of events described popularly as the "rapture" an event made popular by an author in the 1970's/80's that has nothing to do with real scriptural events leading up to the end of days. How can Christianity be so changed by urban legend from 26 years ago?

If you have to see it on TV, you can know that it is an imposter. The Bible teaches that as Jesus comes to this earth, every eye will see him, and when he comes for his people, he will not touch this earth, they will meet him in the sky.
If you wouldd study more thoroughly, you would also know that the common idea of the rapture is not true. It won't be a secret when Jesus returns for his people.

I wouldn't believe it for a second because God isn't some finite being that humans like to believe in. He can't just be caught on the camera stepping down outta heaven. And secondly, I'm not so sure He'd show in Israel anyway.

Live each day as if it could be the day of the rapture. When you know that you have done something bad - repent and tell God that you are sorry and will never repeat that sin.

It would be a world wide celebration.
Children would finally be safe from horny old christian child molesters! The world would be free from the judgmental masses who masquerade as spiritually elevated! The war for the holy land would be over. Peace would finally rule - don't forget... in the last 1900 years more people have died at the hands of the murderous followers of Christ than by the hands of any other religious group.

I always prefer to see shows on TV anyway; didn't have to be there for the moon landing and that was in black and white on a 12 inch screen.

Well for one there would be no coverage of it on TV because during the rapture all evil people with be burned and 99.9% of people in the TV business will be burned. so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

All believers will be taken up at the same time, therefore, we will not be watching it on live TV.
