I stay in St. Louis and characteristic ridden to DC and returned. Sorry to declare it is not avoidable. you will rigidity for the period of the mountains first...by the time you get to Indiana and Illinois, you will want you observed hills. it is so flat and lonely. i've got been on rides from St. Louis to DC and likewise to South Carolina....can not stay away from the mountains.
