It really all depends on waht media players you have installed on .cda
.ivf
.aif, .aifc, and .aiff
Windows Media audio and video filesasf, .asx, .wax, .wm, .wma, .wmd, .wmv, .wvx, .wmp, and .wmx
Windows audio and video files.avi and .wav
.mpeg, .mpg, .m1v, .mp2, .mpa, .mpe, .mp2v*, and .mpv2
.mid, .midi, and .rmi
.au and .snd
.mp3 and .m3u
.vob

I belive tahts all You can also get codecs which enable it to play more files look up klite codec pack download adn install taht it has almost all the codecs you will ever need

AVI is the best most of the time but mpegs r ok 2

depends on what media player u are using, if ur using windows media player than it will play mpeg,wmv u pretty much wanna stay away from the asf.avi.mov files.

well if your downloading, u dont change the format u leave it as it is. since that can cause problems if the file is called movie.avi u dont go and change it to movie.mpeg
