There were tons of missionaries in Japan after it opened up with the Meiji Restoration. Nikolia Cathedral was built in the late 19th century.

It still is, yes. My friend's church went on a mission to Japan and they taught Japanese Christianity secretly.

don't know, but christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world, over 8 million christians have been killed since 1988 globally, 2 million in Sudan alone!! the world hates christianity, because of the truth is presents> let us pray for the world>
