Very few. Even those who were disappointed with Chavez fighting past his prime can still respect his amazing talent earlier in his career. Even those who didn't agree with a certain call or decision recognized him as a notable opponent. Personally, Julio Cesar Chavez is my favorite fighter to watch because he fought so many great boxers and demonstrated a great defence in addition to the amazing chin that kept him on his feet so long.

now he sucks but when he was in his prime only pernell whitaker could beat him.he is a future hall-of-famer and probably the best fighter ever from mexico.

Which one? If you mean Jullio I think he was a great figthter in his day. At least his fights entertained me. Does he suck? I don't know anything about his personal life.
