I tried that with kool-aid but it didn't work. I even tried making it concentrated and leaving it on longer, still didn't work. I decided to just dye all of my hair. Sally Beauty Supply has a lot of different options to choose from. It really depends on if you want permenant or temporary highlights or color. They have all sorts of dyes and color-washes that will add either dramatic color (if you bleach it first) or subtle color (just put it straight on natural hair). Manic Panic works well.

the best way to do it is use 2 packets of red kool aid and mix them with boiling water. let it cool down a little before u pour it on ur head. just depends on how much hair u have. u may need more kool aid. if ur hairs really dark it may not work very well. but u might be able to see a tint of it in the light

I dont think it will show up on dark hair. You might want to go to a beauty supply store and get actual coloring. There's this line called "Beyond Extreme" and they have all sorts of colors, from blue to red to pink. If you want it just subtle, then apply it and leave it on for about 10 minutes. If you want to see a drastic change, you'd have to bleach your hair out first. I tried getting pink highlights once on my dark brown hair, and it didnt really show that much.

Take 2 packets of koolaid and mix it with about 1/2 a cup of water and spread it all throughout your hair. If you have thick hair then use about 4 packets and 1 cup of water. Leave it one for about 45 minutes. Since your hairis dark it will just tint it like you want. And fo course use red koolaid. :)

just use that spray that you can put in your hair. The gel stays in a little longer and you can also get temparaory hair dye stuff but it comes out after 20 something washes.
