I don't mean that the end results of going to the gym is to look cute. I mean women who have their hair perfectly done and nice gym clothes that show off their figure. I don't know about anyone else, but when I go to the gym, I expect to get sweaty and gross from working out, and I could care less about how I look. I wear the first thing I can get my hands on to the gym, and my hair is off of my neck. I notice some women walking on the treadmill with their hair down, and I think, is that comfortable? Yes, I know that I should worry about what I'm doing, but this is just something that I've notice while working out. I tend to look around to keep from being bored. So do you really think these people go to the gym to exercise? I don't think so.

I went to this one gym (once) where my female friend was a member and she was telling how girls would put on makeup in the locker room to go workout.
The funny part, two skinny guys tried to show me up in front of two girls standing next to me (we were just using the same equipment, didn't know them). They lifted this light weight then started saying loudly how strong they were compared to everybody else there. So I just did my set which was 100lbs more than them. So they just walked away.

Yes I think they definitely go to the gym to work out. Some girls look cute no matter what they do! The girls used to give me a hard time when I went because I always wore my hair long and had it up cute with lipstick on and I had nice gym clothes, but I was there to work out and work out I did!
I was raised with a Mom who was this way and I just took after her, any time I went out of the house I made sure I had lipstick on and my hair was nice, even sweats were clean. It's just that all girls are different, some wake up cute, but they are there to work out, believe me there are other places to try to snag a guy than in a gym.

I've noticed that too. I go to the gym looking like a dirtbag because I know that even if I go looking nice, if I end up doing a worthwhile workout, I'll look like doo doo. I agree that these women just want to show off. I saw a lady come in the other day with her hair perfectly done up and sprayed up. She had tons of makeup on and her perfume about knocked me over. She walked on the treadmill very slowly for like 10 minutes and flirted with a trainer. Then she left. I was on the treadmill next to her running and sweating like a pig. It's all for show. And it's so silly.

I think lots of men and women use the gym to troll for dates. But most of us are there to get a work out. It's funny though to see the hair and perfect outfits of some of these women. I think most guys are way more turned on by a woman who actually works up a sweat than one who sits on a lifecyle and flips through a magazine for 15 minutes.

LOL i agree with you.. i wear a tshirt and shorts and my hair up in a pony tail with NO make up.. i always see women walking around with thier hair done and a face full of make up... but they must not work out too hard cause if i wore make up to the gym it would be running down my face and neck by the time im done!!!

Um... I think they all go to work out...but they know cute guys will be there, so they want to look good. Just like they like to look good in teh mall and all that shet. But seriously... exercizing w/ the hair down? Lame.
