Out of control children in stores or other public places!
Blowing noses at the dinner table.
Smacking, chewing with mouth open, and talking with a mouth full of food.
People who answer their cell phones while dining out. No one wants to hear the conversation!
People who talk during movies...and ones who will not take their baby outside when it cries.
Overflowing ashtrays!

When people use their windshield washer fluid on the highway - c'mon, idiots! Wait till you are sitting at a stop light - all you do when pushing that button driving 65+ is hit the next 2 -3 cars behind you with an unwanted spray. And usually ME right after I just spent half the day washing & waxing, AND with my top down - GRRRRRR!

I wouldn't usually answer a question that already had 21 answers, but I just can't help myself here because it's such a great question. My pet peeves are the use of the following words and phrases:
1. "amazing"
2. "journey" (when it is not referring to a physical trip from one place to another)
3. "amazing journey" (once again, to describe a state of mind or one's experience on a reality show)
4. "I was like..." "She was like..." "He was like...." "They were like...." (they weren't LIKE anything. They either were or they weren't).

I don't like having pet peeves, but unfortunately here is my list:
When people say "i hate running because its hard and it makes me feel out of breath".
i hate to break it to you folks, but that is the whole point of running!!!!!
People who drive hummers and huge raised SUV's and trucks. I could say a lot more about this one, but i will refrain.
people who are not nice.
