I know they don't believe in Satan and Hell, but do Wiccans believe in dark forces? Like there are gods, angels, spirits, but are there demons? Negative, dark forces? Don't kill me, I'm just curious...

I believe there is evil out there in the form of negative energy. I don't believe in demons in the Christian sense but I do believe that something like that does exist. That's why one of the first things they tell you to do is learn how to shield yourself. Casting a circle is one way of doing that but it's not always guaranteed.

I have a friend who is Wiccan as well and she will not even use a ouija board because she is afraid of what kind of evil it can unleash (which she has experienced before) and does not believe that even casting a circle can keep you safe in that situation. Most people would disagree with her there. However there is very little else she is afraid of.

You must have balance in nature. It is impossible to have good and light without dark and evil.

Most Wiccans I know (and myself back when I was one) do believe that there are dark forces and dark spirits out there, yes. You can't have the good without having the bad as well. They might not believe in demons per se, but as far as dark-spirited entities and negative forces, yes most Wiccans think those are very real.

I am not Wiccan, but i am Pagan, and i am a spiritual cleanser(exorcist) yes i believe in demons and evil spirits and netagive energy. most of the ancient rituals were designed to get rid of negative energy.

most Wiccans that i know also believe this.

however you must also realise that not all wiccans or pagans believe the same. we respect the beliefs of each other, but they are not always the same beliefs so you may get several different answers. form many different people that are very much in the know.. on thier specific grove or coven's beliefs.

WHAT IT IS..
Wicca is a Neo-Pagan religion with many traditions that date to pre-Christian (and prehistoric) Earth religions. It is based on a deep respect for nature and the certain knowledge that we do not have the right to exploit it for our own gain. Wiccans are deeply concerned with conservation and ecology, and as in all Neo-Pagan religions, Wiccans believe that both animate and inanimate objects possess a spirit which forms part of the Whole. Note that we do not use the term "spirit" in the Judeo-Christian sense of a "ghost," but rather that essence which every object possesses that links it to nature and makes it an inalienable part of the universe.
Wicca is a celebration of the life-forces of nature as personified by the Goddess and her consort, the God.

Wicca may includes the practice of magic which is defined as the process of causing change through the focusing of our natural powers. It is important to note that magic is natural. There is nothing supernatural about it. We use certain tools such as spells, visualization, chants, candles, amulets and meditation to help us focus our power, but the power comes from within -- it is not in the tools. Our ancestors knew how to use it effectively, but it is a largely forgotten art in modern times...........WICCA IS NOT synonymous with Satan worship. The very concept of a supreme evil spirit is alien to Wicca. In fact, most Wiccans do not even believe in Satan. The devil is a Judeo-Christian construct and as such, it has nothing to do with Wicca. The notion that witches worship Satan was propounded by the Roman Catholic Church as it made its way across Europe, in an effort to suppress the native earth-based religions prevalent at the time. They succeeded to the extent that they drove the practitioners of these religions underground where much of their knowledge and traditions were lost. Through the work of the Golden Dawn, as well as anthropological and archeological research, many of these traditions have been rediscovered and incorporated into Neo-Paganism, an umbrella term for most modern earth-based and shamanistic religions..................

Demons are very real. I know because I've encountered them on more than one occasion. Let me explain. In the practice of evocation (calling a spirit, entity or demon to visible appearance on the Astral or Physical plane), I like to personify my negative traits; my personal demons. By naming my negative traits, I have complete power over them. I cast my circle, call them to visible appearance and have a serious talk about their behavior in my life. If we can come to terms, then I let them return from whence they came (usually my deep subconscious). If they refuse to see any point but their own, I dominate and them destroy them using various magicks designed for just that purpose. So, yes demons are real, but they can also be dealt with (and no, i don't mean for you to make deals with them!) in a timely and efficient manner if you know how.
Study hard, study long, remember what you can and someday you may vanquish the demons that plague you!!
Good luck!

I don't believe in demons. I do however acknowldge postive and negative energy, but that is different than evil, satan and demons.

An example of negative energy is the example of peoples negative thoughts or depression affecting us. That is one reason we sheild ourselves daily to protect us from the negative energy around us.

Ok, I don't have first hand knowledge, but I think if we're talkin forces, there are no good or evil forces, it's all about how you use them. Hope I haven't overstepped my bounds in commenting on a question directed at Wiccans.

I may not be Wiccan, but I'll tell you something about dark forces. They're like rats, you put them down, and then suddenly there's fifty more! Luckily this country puts out ammo like popcorn, or I'd run dry waxing the bastards. If there is a hell, I've probably got a nice little 'fan club' down there that has my name on it. As far as angels are concerned, if they exist, they aren't doing their friggin' job! Does that answer your question?

The dark side of the force flows from within.
