I'm 19 years old, and I have a crush on my teacher's assitant, who is in his early twenties. He knows me PRETTY well and doesn't seem to mind me. I would love to ask him out for a movie or something like that, but I'm really scared to. Should I do it (that is after he's not my teacher's assistant anymore, if that is even a factor)?

If your 19, I guess there should be no laws about you dating him. I think most absolutely wait until he is no longer the teachers assistant... because any career he may have could be ruined if he was found dating students. However, make sure you get to know him while he is around!! Ask him out only once he is no longer teachers assistant.

Well that is up to you while you are in the class. Is that going to affect you if you go out on a date with him while you are in the class is a factor to consider. If you are confident that you are going to pass and that it won't affect your school professional relationship then go for it now! But if not, then just fall back. But still keep in contact with him until you change your mind or when the class is over. Hope this helps.

if he is unattatched then what the hell. Go for it, you have nothing to lose. If him being the teachers assistant is a problem, wait til he no longer is your teachers assistant. don't be scared, take a chance you will regret it if you don't do it. You will always wonder what would of happend.

How well does he know you exactly? If he is not your teachers assisstant anymore (I hope you mean college) then what can it hurt. Do you think he may feel the same way? But on the other hand if he is still friends with your teacher that could get ugly if things do not work out....somethign to think about..

It shouldn't matter unless this assistant has some kid of tie to grading. Other student might bust you over it tho, but other than that I'd say go ahead and ask. Good luck to you, I hope he says yes. :)

I would wait until you are no longer in the class or he has moved on to working in another class. It could look bad if you get really good grades and others in your class know you are dating him, they may think he's fixing the books.
