How many military and civilain pilots are there in major airlines?

And, what's the percentage? How about in the regional airlines? And once an airline posts a job offer for pilots, how many applications do they receive nowadays?

They're all civilian pilots here... at least while they're working for the airlines. While some pilots may be members of the National Guard or military reserves, there are no active duty military pilots flying for airlines in the USA.
