If it doesn't come back hunt it down and kill it.

I'll say let it go. I've tried. It works. If you got the courage to let it go from you, have the guts to embrace the consequences of your act. It's no longer yours. You set it free. Deal with it. If you hadn't set it free, it would have escaped sooner or later. That way you look like a victim, the suffering one. The one who has made greater sacrifice. And all are the odds that it will come back to you eventually. Now, how could it come back if it's being your prey who you are trying to Hunt down and make rabbit stew?

I am 36 years old. Love isn't easy. It can't hurt very bad when things don't turn out like you want. Personally, I would let it go and set it free. Hunting it down will bring you more pain and suffering. Don't be obsessed with him/her. Focus your attention on more positive things. Dwelling on a lover will only make things worse.
